The Fresno Irrigation District is proposing to abandon the Cole South Branch No. 40 Facility south of McKinley Avenue. This notice is hereby given that a public hearing of the facility abandonment is scheduled for January 2024 and comments will be heard from the Public at the Board of Director’s (BOD) meeting to be held on January 11, 2024 (@ 3:00 P.M) at the District Office located at 2907 South Maple Avenue, Fresno, California. The BOD will make its final decision at this meeting based upon the District Staff’s evaluation and recommended findings supporting the abandonment.
