Annual Growers Meetings Set by FID

After postponing growers meetings in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19, 2022 meeting dates are set for Easton, Clovis and Kerman


The Fresno Irrigation District (FID) will be hosting three public meetings for growers within FID. The meetings will be held at the following locations:


• Kerman: Tuesday, March 29, at the Kerman Community Center (15101 W. Kearney Blvd., Kerman);


• Easton: Wednesday, March 30, at the Easton CPDES Hall (172 W. Jefferson Ave., Fresno);


• Clovis: Thursday, March 31, at the Clovis Veteran’s Memorial Building (808 4th Street, Clovis).


Doors at each of the meetings will open at 8:00 a.m. with coffee and pastries, and the meetings will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.


All FID growers are encouraged to attend one of the meetings to get an update on the current water supply conditions, update on the Kings River Water Association water rights efforts with the State Water Resources Control Board, and an update on the North Kings Groundwater Sustainability Agency’s implementation efforts per the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.
